Wednesday 13 October

We wander around the port area with its Chinese cargo boats and cruise ships and then head into the old town of A Coruna. Lots of the distinctive white balconies on the old buildings. We walk through lots of the narrow alleyways of the old quarter

We leave the marina just before 12 and head off out of the busy town and make our way to Santiago de Compostella. Nice camp site up in the hills. We hadn’t appreciated that Iago is Galician for James ( as in Saintiago) who we will be meeting tomorrow as we have booked to visit the cathedral and portico and a  roof top tour . So after picnic lunch by the van we can relax and make our way to the delightful pool for a refreshing swim.

Supper is the van favourite tuna pasta ( at least it’s Cantabrian tuna) and Albariño white wine outside on our lovely shady pitch.
